It is very excited experience when you decide to get your first tattoo ink on our body. I
still remember the process when I was getting my first tattoo done. It is very risky and struggling task especially there would be a higher chance your will make a wrong decision. In fact, there are 4 easy steps I want to share with you to get your first tattoo done perfectly without regret later.
1) Finding a Tattoo Artist
There are several criteria you need to observe in order choose the best tattoo artist for your first tattoo. Clean and hygienic, Go in and talk to the tattoo artists, and get a feel for their personalities. It’s very important that you feel comfortable with the artist who will be doing your tattoo, and are confident in their abilities.
2) Stay Away from Extreme Tattoo Designs
Stay away from extreme tattoos. Since it’s your first tattoo, there is a high possibility that you will make a wrong decision on your first tattoo. If you are going for those extreme tattoo just because to you want to show off that you’re cool…No..No.. In fact… You are a fool. But it’s ok you may go for it if you have been quite experience with tattoo for a long times already.
3) Beware of anything that is displayed on the wall of the tattoo parlor.
While there is some really good artwork up there it is very likely that someone else has already gotten it done. Isn’t the point of getting a tattoo to be unique? Look in the artists book for more unique pieces to get a better idea of what to get.
Talk to your artist. They have been doing this for years and can help you figure out what is the right tattoo for you. They will ask you a lot of questions to help you come to a good and final conclusion.
4) New Tattoo After-Care
The color in your new tat is especially susceptible to fading in the first two weeks. During that time, avoid direct sunlight. Soaking in the bathtub is a bad idea too. In fact, spending time in any water, specifically water than has chemicals in it, such as swimming pools or hot tubs should be avoided as well.
Bacitracin, tattoo lubrication, Neosporin are the essential items to take care of your new tattoo. Hence, you should ask the tattoo artist in details what you should and shouldn’t do in the healing period.

I think this is very wise advice, especially the part about having the tattoo placed where it won’t show at work. Right or wrong, people make judgements.
This is a great article. It all comes down to the tattoo artist. No matter how cool the design, it’s up to the artist to create it. The better tattoo artist will also analyze your situation (comfort level, outgoing ability, where you work) and determine the best place for your tattoo.
