Henna is safe and natural red/brown." Black" henna is a chemical that is illegal to apply to the skin and is highly dangerous and toxic, it is a transdermal toxin. That means it goes through the skin into the body.
It can result in painful blisters, scarring, and lifelong sensitivity to PPD, the usual ingredient.
For best results, use only safe and natural red/brown henna and leave it on fro 4-6 hours for best results.
