Spider web tattoos are a piece of artwork, that is really fun to wear. You can sport a
tattoo, and most often this is the case, just for fun. However, there are some specific kinds of tattoos, the spider tattoos as an example, which have many connotations other than simple fun.
Often spider tattoos are used to show how many times they have served prison. However, there are times when they mean to claim supremacy due to a white origin. There are times when spider webs on the elbow imply a gay, racist or a political skinhead.
They go on to symbolize other stuff as the wearer has either hit or murdered a minority group and is proud to have such racist feelings or he is in to drug abuse. In the weirdest of cases they could also mean that you want freedom from where you are!
The most interesting of cases is perhaps the fact that these were used at some point of time within the gang and only the gang members could decode the meaning while to the outside world it meant that the wearer has been to prison many times. James Burmeister, in 1995, allegedly killed a black couple because of his acute interest in sporting the spider tattoo, which was generally worn by Aryans.
In case you want to sport a spider web tattoo for the right reasons, you are welcome to do so. In fact they look cool! But God forbid, do not go about killing people to acquire that!
